Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before booking a repair.

General

No — iDoctor Cell Repair is a fully mobile service. I come to your home, workplace, or any convenient location in my service area. This keeps my overhead low and means you don't have to go out of your way to get your phone fixed.
I'm based in Plant City and serve the surrounding central Florida area including Lakeland, Zephyrhills, Brandon, Valrico, Dover, Seffner, Mulberry, Winter Haven, Wesley Chapel, and Dade City. Not sure if I cover your location? Just ask in your quote request.
As a mobile shop I don't have set store hours. I work around your schedule — reach out through the quote form and we'll find a time that works for you.
No problem — I offer mail-in repair. Ship your device to me, I'll fix it and ship it right back to you. Submit a request on the mail-in page and I'll confirm the quote and shipping address within 1 business day.

Repairs

It depends on the repair and whether I have the part in stock. As a growing shop I order parts per repair rather than keeping a large inventory — so some repairs may take a few extra days while parts arrive. I'll always be upfront about the timeline before we confirm anything.
I repair most major brands including Apple iPhone, Samsung, Google Pixel, Motorola, and more. If you're not sure whether I can fix your specific model, just submit a quote request and I'll let you know.
If after diagnosis I determine your device can't be repaired — or if the repair cost isn't worth it — I'll tell you honestly. You won't be charged for a repair that wasn't completed.
In most cases your data is not affected during a repair. That said, I always recommend backing up your phone before any repair — just in case. iCloud, Google Photos, or a computer backup all work great.

Pricing & payment

Pricing varies depending on the device and repair type. I provide a free no-obligation quote before any work begins so you always know the cost upfront — no surprises. Get a free quote here.
I accept cash, Venmo, Cash App, and Zelle. Payment is due when the repair is completed.
Yes, completely free with no obligation. You can get a quote, review the price, and decide not to proceed — no charge, no pressure.

Warranty

Yes — all repairs come with a 90-day warranty on parts and labor. If the same issue returns within 90 days of your repair due to a defect in the part or my workmanship, I'll make it right at no additional cost.
The warranty does not cover new physical damage (drops, cracks), water damage that occurs after the repair, or issues unrelated to the original repair. It covers the specific part and work performed only.
